Q: What did people do for fun, before television, streaming and video games?
A: Play outside!
Even better, play in a food landscape! Imagine how it feels to be a sheep or a horse — run and play all day on your food! We’ve come close with our own personal labyrinth, laid out between rows of grapes — and someday maybe apple, pear and other food-producing trees.
Stay tuned for more fun in the food yard projects, as we turn failing grape vines into a garden for play 🙂
Straight from the horse’s mouth: the difference between a labyrinth and a maze is this: labyrinths have one route, while mazes have choices and dead ends. Be sure which you are in!
Bonus fact: did you know that horses like walnuts, acorns and grapes, as well as apples, carrots and pears?
